Nous sommes très honorés et reconnaissants d'être récompensés. c’est une reconnaissance de ce que nous faisons en équipe alliant talents hongkongais et français, L’ECOLE est l’école de la joaillerie pour tous. Notre mission de partager et de transmettre la culture Joaillerie à travers tous nos programmes éducatifs. Nous sommes ravis d'être reconnus pour la contribution et les efforts que nous mettons dans l'éducation et les échanges culturels entre Hong Kong et la France.
We are very honoured and grateful to be awarded. it’s a recognition of what we are doing as a team combining Hong Kong and French talents, L’ECOLE is the Jewelry School for everyone. L'ECOLE a créé une école de bijouterie unique à Hong Kong. Veuillez nous en dire plus sur les raisons de cette création / L’ECOLE has created a unique type jewelry school in Hong Kong. Please tell us more about it and the reason behind.
La ville a toujours été un lieu de connaissance des joyaux. En tant que tel, elle a joué un rôle important sur la scène mondiale. Il y a plusieurs années, L'ECOLE décidait de la destination du premier campus permanent de L'ECOLE à l'étranger. Compte tenu des trois éditions réussies des écoles nomades à Hong Kong en 2014, 2016 et 2017 et du grand potentiel de Hong qui nous a aidés à prendre une décision, K11 MUSEA est également apparu comme la maison idéale, avec son mandat d'éducation publique à l'art.
The city has always been a place for iewelry appreciation and gems knowledge. As such it has been playing a significant role within the global scene. Several years ago L’ECOLE was deciding on a destination of L’ÉCOLE’s first overseas permanent campus. Considering the three successful editions of nomadic schools in Hong Kong in 2014, 2016 and 2017 and the great potential in Hong along this has helped us reach a decision, K11 MUSEA appeared as the perfect home too, with its mandate for public education of art.
Quelle relation entretenez-vous avec les personnes participant à vos ateliers ? Quel héritage après les premières années d'exploitation ? / How do you follow up with people attending your workshops. What is the overall legacy after the first years of operations?
Depuis l'ouverture de l'école en 2019, plus de 6 000 élèves ont participé à plus de 700 cours d'arts joailliers. Au total, nous avons accueilli plus de 30 000 invités, avec le succès de 6 expositions que nous avons jusqu'à présent organisées pour le public gratuitement. Nous contactons régulièrement notre communauté, la tenant au courant des derniers événements et programmes offerts à L'ÉCOLE. Nous continuons à enrichir notre programme d'études, faisant du parcours d'apprentissage un parcours continu.
Since the school opened in 2019, over 6,000 students participated in 700+ jewelry arts courses. Overall we have welcomed more than 30,000 guests, with the success of 6 exhibitions we have so far organized for public free of charge. We reach out regularly to our community, keeping them updated with the latest happenings and programmes offered at L’ÉCOLE. We keep enriching our curriculum, making the learning journey an ongoing one.
Pensez-vous qu'il y a quelque chose à apprendre de l'Asie dans et comment la relation France Hong Kong peut agir dans les deux sens ? / Do you think there is something to learn from Asia in the process and the France Hong Kong relationship can act both ways ?
Hong Kong a toujours été un lieu d'échange interculturel ; une ville où l'Est rencontre l'Ouest; c'est un grand creuset. La joaillerie est un langage universel, et chaque civilisation a un héritage joaillier. Cette année, pour la premère fois, L'ÉCOLE à Paris a accueilli un projet initié à Hong Kong et mettant en lumière l'héritage artisanal et le raffinement de l'orfèvrerie chinoise ancienne. Grâce à la confiance et au soutien des collectionneurs locaux de "MengDieXuan", il a été adapté à Paris sous le titre "Gold & Treasures". Dans les deux villes, le nombre de spectateurs a atteint un record !
Hong Kong has always been a place of cross-cultural exchange; a city where East meets West; it’s a big-melting pot. Jewelry is a universal language, and each civilization has a Jewelry heritage.This year for the first time, L’ÉCOLE in Paris welcomed a project first initiated in Hong Kong and highlighting the craftsmanship heritage and refinement of ancient Chinese goldsmithing .The exhibition ‘The Art of Gold, 3 000 years of Chinese Treasures” was made possible thanks to the trust and support from local collectors of “MengDieXuan” it was adapted in Paris as “Gold & Treasures”. In both cities the number of attendances hit record high!

C'était excitant de collaborer avec Le French May cette année, la série de conférences sur Versailles s'est très bien déroulée et les inscriptions sont toutes parties si vite. Nous sommes toujours à la recherche de collaborations et de dialogues, dans le but d'éduquer et d'atteindre un public plus large. L’ÉCOLE Asia Pacific était auparavant partenaire de Jewelry & Gems Fairs et de Fine Art Asia, et nous prévoyons de poursuivre notre partenariat cette année. Restez connectés pour plus à venir.
It was exciting to collaborate with Le French May this year, the series of talks about Versailles went really well and the registrations were all gone so quickly. We are always looking for collaborations and dialogue, for the purpose to educate and to reach out to bigger audience. L’ÉCOLE Asia Pacific had previously been the partner of Jewelry & Gems Fairs and of Fine Art Asia, and we plan to continue our partnership this year. Stay tuned for more to come.

Plus d'ateliers, de cours, de discussions avec différents sujets à venir cet été et au-delà, nous venons de lancer notre nouveau cours "Diamond Grading" en juin ! Si vous n'en avez pas encore eu l'occasion, visitez notre dernière exposition "Daniel Brush, le voyage édifiant : or, aluminium, acier" qui se terminera le 2 octobre.5. Enfin, nous attendons avec impatience l'ouverture de la troisième école permanente de L'ÉCOLE à Shanghai en fin d'année !
More workshops, courses, talks with different topics coming in the Summer and onwards, we just launched our new course ‘Diamond Grading’ in June! If you still haven’t had the chance, do visit our latest exhibition ‘Daniel Brush, the Edifying Journey: Gold, Aluminum, Steel’ which will end on October 2nd. Last but not least, we look forward to L’ÉCOLE’s third permanent school opening in Shanghai later this year!
