Ma Chérie celebrates 10 years of authentic French macarons in NZ

Individual gateaux, tarts and macarons of course but also a frozen ‘bake at home’ viennoiserie range... Already a decade that Ma Cherie French Pastry treats the taste buds of Aucklanders! For this 10th anniversary, pastry chef and co-founder Guillaume Nicoli take it back to where it all began: the macaron. 

10 Year Anniversary Special – Gianduja Macaron limited-edition

The team at Ma Chérie launched a Gianduja flavour macaron limited-edition (we know it’s a little challenging to say) as they really wanted to do something extra special to mark their 10th Anniversary. Made of finely ground hazelnut and roasted French almonds combined with the finest Belgian Chocolate to give an indulgent taste, Gianduja macarons are a perfect balance of nutty and chocolate flavours.

Co-Founder, Guillaume Nicoli said “Gianduja is such a nostalgic flavour for me, it couldn’t be more authentically French and that’s what we’re all about at Ma Cherie. Our 10-year anniversary couldn’t be a more fitting occasion to launch this flavour to New Zealand. My recommendation is that you must try this!”

This “Chocolate, Hazelnut and Almond Macaron” is one of the most popular flavours of French pastry in France. It’s a flavour that you’ll see widely used in bakeries across France, Belgium and Italy.

A New Seasonal Winter Range 

Now as the colder days draw in, winter is really upon us. Ma Chérie has launched a fantastic winter range of products inspired by traditional Kiwi winter dishes with of course the Ma Cherie French flair to each of them: Blueberry and Cherry Crumble Tart,Strawberry and Rhubarb Crumble Tart and Rhubarb Macaron. This Winter Range is available now until 30th September as a wholesale range from Ma Cherie.
