Meet Harbour Society So/ Auckland
Harbour Society is home to French Chef Marc de Passorio, former owner of Michelin-starred restaurant, L’Esprit de la Violette. Marc sold his restaurant and jumped at the chance to make Auckland his next home. Marc is incredibly passionate about combining years of culinary experience with local produce. An avid traveller Marc has worked in restaurants around the world from Mauritius to France, and now New Zealand.
According to Marc to realize the true potential of cooking, it’s crucial to follow the seasons. “You have to respect the earth and sea and what it provides. In New Zealand I have found the ideal playground for my cuisine.” Asides from the main dining area; Harbour Society offers two private dining rooms, The Cellar and The Waitemata room.
