Meet La Tropézienne
I arrived in NZ 1982 on a Work Permit with a small ruksak 2 jeans & 2 shirts. I worked for La Croix du Sud on Victoria St & La Baguette in Remuera for a year then got deported from NZ over a silly mix-up with the NZ consulate. Returning 1983 when R. Muldoon was PM, I obtained pardon. I worked for Le Croissant D'or on K-Rd then Sheraton Auckland.
In March 1986 I took over a tiny Bakery in Browns Bay & fully refurbished & rearranged it. 6 years later we took over the shop next door & added a Cafe. After 34 years we have kept a high variety & quality of genuine French food, handmade the old fashioned way. I am very lucky to have so many loyal customers to whom I say Merci Beaucoup. Vive La France Vive La Trop.
Address: 92 Clyde Road, Browns Bay, Auckland
