Bastille Day 2023 in Ireland

Indeed we offer you to celebrate July 14, 2023 (Bastille Day, the French National Day) with French music, French food, a brass band and other surprises, all in the majestic setting of The Church pub in Dublin! This year again, Bastille Day, organized by French Friday and lepetitjournal.com from in Dublin, in partnership with the French Embassy in Ireland, will bring a French wind to the Irish capital!

The Church, iconic pub of Dublin

In 2022, we made Dublin vibrate to the sound of the French brass band "Le Grand Machin Chose", delighted the taste buds with culinary specialties from Franvce, and made all lovers of French culture dance until late. In 2023, we plan to do even better!

Bastille Day 2023 will be held on July 14, from 12 pm to 2 am, at The Church Bar & Restaurant. Dublin's historic church, transformed into one of the largest bars in the country, will be tinted in blue, white, red for the occasion. Between crêpe stands, photobooth sessions and face painting, the day promises to be rich in entertainment.

The highlight of the show? The Celtic percussion group The Brass Monkeys will be partying to make the participants dance on the terrace of the Church. The energy of this brass band and their contagious good mood will surely make you dance!

After the concerts, a DJ will animate the evening with an electric mix of French and international hits. Expect some fiery dance steps until the end of the night!

And, as no French celebration would be complete without a good meal, The Church has planned a special menu for the occasion. The details remain secret for the moment, but we can assure you that you will not be disappointed!

One thing's for sure though? The sausage-cheese platter will of course be part of it!
