Yoga in the Park, Market Day, openair DJ set, live music, authentic French food, and lake-side vibe combine to create the event of the season! Proudly brought to you by Le Petit Journal Auckland and French Rendez-vous, the (Sun)day Festival is a one-day family-friendly festival at Auckland's only lakeside restaurant.
Nestled on the Shores of Lake Pupuke and home of The Pumphouse Theatre and cafe, Kilarney Park Reserve is home to a vibrant community of birds, including ducks, geese and swans and offers a very romantic and picturesque location just a few minutes drive from central Auckland.
10 am - 12 pm: Yoga in the Park & Family Park Clean-Up (free)
What a better way to start the day? Beginner or professional yogi, everybody is welcome to join! Grab your team, and join us for this morning yoga class in Killarney Park, Takapuna.
Following our morning yoga class, join us for a Park Clean Up with Our Seas Our Future, a New Zealand Registered Charity that works to protect New Zealand's coastal and marine ecosystems. Grab the kids and get some quality time while giving back! We provide buckets or bags to collect the rubbish. Feel free to bring your own gloves if you want though.
Water/sunscreen recommended.
10 am - 3 pm: Market Day & Pre-Loved clothing market (free)
Enjoy a one-day-only market day full of Kiwi French stalls selling food, local produce, arts, and crafts. A great family day out held at the Pumphouse Theatre, in Takapuna with: Miel des Collines ; Baboo Baby Boutique ; Cafoutche NZ ; French Fine Food ; Little 'Lato ; Ambler Café & Bistro and more...
We also are hosting a vide-dressing (pre-loved clothing market) where you can find gorgeous pieces at irresistible prices!
The Market kicks off at 10.00 am then finishes at 3 o'clock.
4 pm - 7 pm: Drunk On Sound - Groove Garden Vol.7
Chill out at Auckland's only lakeside restaurant with disco grooves and fine house tunes from Drunk On Sound Djs. There's no better way to spend your day than sipping on a French rosé and enjoying live tunes in the sunshine. Event proudly supported by Maison Vauron and Kronenbourg 1664 NZ.
7 pm - 9 pm: Velvet Tones Live Concert in a spectacular outdoor amphitheater
